How to listen to our MIDIs online?
Just click on the link that you desire and wait for it to load. Usually your media player (e.g. Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc.) will open it. If nothing happens after you click it, save the file and play it locally on your computer.

What are the requirements to open and listen to the MIDI files?
Any computer with a sound card that is capable of playing MIDI. Don't forget to use a MIDI software like WinGroove, Windows Media Player or Winamp.

Certain WebTV boxes can play these files too. Check with your documentation that comes with your WebTV box.

Certain Linux distributions will require you to have certain packages to be installed first. Consult your documentation on this.

Can I use your MIDIs on my site?
Actually, these are not my MIDIs but I will try to give credit to them who created those MIDIs. Anyway, you can use it on your site without restrictions.

How do I put my MIDIs on my site?
First, download the desired MIDI from the Downloads section and upload it to your web server.
Next, follow the instructions in the link below to learn how to embed the MIDI into your web pages.
http://joliclic.free.fr/html/object-tag/en/object-audio.html#mid
For the technical people: It's based on the OBJECT tag, so it should be friendly to validation.

How do I upload the MIDI files to my phone?
Please refer to your phone documentation on how to do it. Usually you will need to attach a cable to your PC (USB or Serial) or connect to your PC wirelessly via Bluetooth or IRDA (Infra-red).

Are these MIDI files all yours?
No. They all belong to their respective owners and you are free to use it for personal use only. This is only a fan-site for anime and games only.

Where do you get the information for each MIDI file?
- The anime/game that I own
- Animenewsnetwork.com for anime
- Wikipedia
- Bluelaguna.net
- The source where I got the MIDI (either in Korean/Japanese/English/Thai or any other language)

What browser should I use to view this site?
My recommendation will be to use Mozilla Firefox or Opera or Google Chrome. Any W3C compliant browsers should work fine except Microsoft Internet Explorer.

If you are using Internet Explorer particularly version 6, some parts of the site will not be displayed as it should in Mozilla Firefox or any major browser that is not from Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't like to get in touch with the latest web technologies (at the time of this writing) but they are always far behind of its competitors.

This site has been developed for these browsers:
Gecko-based browsers: Camino, Mozilla Firefox, Seamonkey
Presto-based browser(s): Opera
WebKit-based browsers: Apple Safari, Google Chrome

For text-based browsers, I have tested so far with Links or Lynx at the moment. The degradation of the styles is acceptable that you can use it normally but it wouldn't look that nice as on a GUI based browser.

How do I download the MIDI files?

For Internet Explorer users:
Right click the title of the song and select "Save Target As..."

For Mozilla-based browsers such as Firefox, Mozilla, Seamonkey or Netscape:
Right click the title of the song and select "Save Link As..."

For other browsers:
Right click the title of the song and choose the option that usually says "Save Link As...". Please refer to your browser's documentation.

For advanced terminal commands for *nix:
Use wget followed by the URL to the MIDI.
For more information, type man wget.

What do you use to power your Download section?
WebSight Directory System. Modified to suit the needs for this site. Currently I am using the version posted at the SourceForge site. Currently as I was writing this FAQ, the author is in the process of revamping the script. The script requires PHP and MySQL.

Where do you get all these information for describing your MIDIs?
The source where I got those MIDI files, anime series that I have watched or the games that I have played, Wikipedia, and various anime sites such as Anime News Network and the soundtrack of the anime or game series.

If I don't have a button for my site, what should I do?
You just notify me and say that you want a text link. If you really want a button, can apply for the text link first and then you find someone to do the job and send me an email saying that you can put your button my site.
